PRINTING WITH A PASTA MAKER - INTAGLIO

Ink plate and place it face down onto dampened paper. Wrap in a piece of thin blanket such as a "soaker" or a piece of thin foam commonly used as a packaging material.
Make a "sandwich" of your plate, paper and foam
Set your machine - you will need to experiment with this as to the best setting
Start feeding the wrapped bundle in to the machine
Note that the plate needs to be flexible enough to pass through the machine and beyond without being jammed on the table

The example below is a waterless lithograph plate made of recycled aluminium offset plate from a commercial printer
Pasta maker, paper and inked waterless litho plate. This plate is known as a planographic plate but an inked linocut will work well. The plate needs to be flexible.
Set your machine, you will need to experiment here.
Place the plate face down onto paper
Begin feeding plate and paper through the machine
