Capturing the Waters of the Fitzroy Falls Reservoir

Join artist Barbara Nell for a relaxed day of en plein air painting and drawing in the beautiful landscape around Fitzroy Falls Reservoir. Working outdoors in natural light, participants will explore ways of capturing the atmosphere, colours and changing moods of the escarpment through painting, drawing and mixed media.
Barbara will offer guidance and practical tips throughout the day, helping participants work confidently outdoors while developing their own personal response to the landscape. All skill levels are welcome.
Bring along your preferred art materials, a chair if you wish, and a packed lunch for the day.
Participants will meet at Gallery 74 before travelling together to Fitzroy Falls Reservoir.
