Fast, intuitive, and full of surprise, Mono Painting is a lively printmaking process that captures the energy of the moment.

Working with oil paint painted onto Perspex plates, you’ll draw, wipe, layer, and experiment before printing onto paper to create beautifully expressive one-off artworks. This direct, hands-on method encourages spontaneity and lets unexpected marks become part of the magic.

​

Inspired by landscape and seascape, you will explore soft horizons, shifting light, and atmosphere while learning how to mix rich, muted colours and embrace loose, gestural mark making.

​

Throughout the day you’ll build confidence, work quickly, and complete 5–6 unique monoprints to take home.

​

Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike — come ready to play, experiment, and be surprised.

All materials supplied. Make sure to wear an apron or something to cover your clothing.
