CONCERTINA BOOK & WATERLESS LITHOGRAPHY

This is a workshop you’ll thoroughly enjoy - and you’ll leave with a beautiful concertina book filled with your own original prints.
Explore waterless lithography, a straightforward and low-toxic alternative to the traditional process. Instead of heavy stones and acids, we use silicone-coated plates to keep things clean, safe, and accessible. Even better, it’s fast, you’ll be pulling your first prints just 30 minutes after completing your drawing.
We’ll work with Staedtler Lumocolor Omnichrom pencils, Sharpies, and toner washes to create everything from crisp, graphic lines to rich, velvety textures.
Each technique you learn will be printed directly into your own custom concertina book. Using beautiful Dutch printmaking paper and hand-made covers, you’ll finish with a cohesive, professional-looking piece to take home.
Experience Level: All levels welcome! No prior printmaking experience is required.
What to Bring: Please bring image ideas or drawings sized to 12 x 12cm.
Pre-Workshop Note: Once registered, you will receive an email with instructions on sending your digital file for the image transfer technique.
